چکیده
Cavities formed using cyclic tetrapeptides (CTPs) or heat-induced conformers act as templates for cyclization; the cavities bind to linear tetrapeptides and enforce turn conformations to enhance cyclization to constrained CTPs.

Synthesis of a Nanostructured Molecularly Imprinted Acrylic acid-Based Network Copolymer as a Solid Sorbentforthe Quercetinextraction
A straightforward approach for the extraction of the quercetin was carried out by a nanoporous molecularly imprinted acrylic acid-based network copolymer as asolid sorbent. This technique involves a molecular template (quercetin) which is surrounded by functional monomers and are subsequently co-polymerized in the presence of an excess of the cross linkers. In this process, three-dimensional bi...
متن کاملSynthesis of a nanoporous molecularly imprinted polymers for dibutyl Phthalate extracted from Trichoderma Harzianum
In this study, molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized for dibutyl phthalate as a bioactive chemical compound with antifungal activity which produced by Trichoderma Harzianum (JX1738521). The molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized via precipitation polymerization method from methacrylic acid, dibutyl phthalate and trimetylolpropantrimethacrylate as a functional monomer, templat...
متن کاملTo Remove or Not to Remove? The Challenge of Extracting the Template to Make the Cavities Available in Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs)
Template removal is a critical step in the preparation of most molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). The polymer network itself and the affinity of the imprinted cavities for the template make its removal hard. If there are remaining template molecules in the MIPs, less cavities will be available for rebinding, which decreases efficiency. Furthermore, if template bleeding occurs during analyti...
متن کاملSynthesis and Evaluating of Nanoporous Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for Extraction of Quercetin as a Bioactive Component of Medicinal Plants
In this work, the template, monomer, and cross-linker with the ratio of 1:8:40 were used to synthesize Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) for extraction of the bioactive chemical compounds from some traditional herbs as a sorbent material. Quercetin, Methacrylic Acid (MAA), Trimethylolpropanetrimethacrylate (TRIM) and Tetrahydrofuran (THF) were used as a template, funct...
متن کاملThe Novel Critical Point Drying (CPD) Based Preparation and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Imaging of Protein Specific Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (HydroMIPs)
We report the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) imaging of a hydrogel-based molecularly imprinted polymer (HydroMIP) specific to the template molecule bovine haemoglobin (BHb). A novel critical point drying based sample preparation technique was employed to prepare the molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) samples in a manner that would facilitate the use of TEM to image the imprinted caviti...
